Ethos
Meadowsweet Collaborative facilitates learning experiences rooted in play to awaken self-discovery, healing and connection. Experimentation, curiosity & wonder guide this work.
Offerings include workshops, groups and retreats.
Guiding Principles
Play can open doors to connection, self-discovery, and healing. It’s where we can be messy, work through conflict, investigate the world and ourselves, where we can be free to discover what we like, find out what makes us come alive, notice what scares us and attune to our growing edges. Play is an invitation to connect with others, to dream up worlds and build them together.
For children, play is learning, not the other way around. For adults, many of us have lost the ability and freedom to play. Reawakening our innate ability to play breathes color back into life.
Play is sacred
Participants are collaborators in the learning environment. Together we create the magic. Meadowsweet aims to work with all kinds of participants and co-creators. Intergenerational learning spaces are vital to this work.

building a culture of care
Modern life can be quite overwhelming, stressful and lonely. The constant squeeze of capitalism and absence of support systems has individualized what was once collective. We were never meant to care for our families and relations alone, we need each other. Building a culture of connection and belonging in learning spaces is so needed.
I have worked as an educator for over 10 years with people of all ages in lots of wildly different settings including: a community health clinic, urban garden, public schools, domestic violence shelter, and forest school. I deeply believe liberatory learning and play and will help us reimagine the ways we can care for ourselves, each other, and this earth we call home. I dabble in documentary filmmaking, seedkeeping, storytelling, flower and herb gardening, and going for wanders. I’m a certified SoulCollage® Facilitator and Child-Led Certified Practitioner through Sally Haughey’s Wunderled Program.
